• ABOUT US & WHY WE ARE THE BEST FOR THE JOB

Studying Nuclear Engineering at the University of Manchester, Jonathan Harrison was offered a traineeship in Madrid, Spain where he was involved in researching the downtime of a nuclear reactor for the company Westinghouse

After finishing his Batchelor’s degree, he moved to Belgium in 1990 and started buying and selling used metalworking machines. In 1997 he founded Harrison Machinehandel, now Harrison Machines,  using his knowledge and experience in used metalworking machinery

Little did he know that almost 25 years later he would still be as passionate and driven as the day he started, but machinery is in his blood

Originally dealing in toolroom machinery, he quickly expanded his interest to CNC machines which are now a large part of Harrison Machines business

Not afraid of getting his hands dirty, he took it upon himself to make sure machines are properly dismantled, loaded and secured for customers all over the world.

After 20 years of mostly working alone he decided it was time to expand.

New colleagues were brought in to assist with the loading work and international sales, allowing Jonathan to focus on the purchasing of used machinery locally and abroad

Today, Harrison Machines has more work than ever

Purchasing in 2021 industrial land in Kieleberg, Bilzen for a new office/warehouse and a new 27T capacity forklift together with two trailers and a truck

A young and dynamic team promises a good future and excellent service to our customers both home and abroad
